there was some worry (over in the "other" forum :-) that using a narrower barrel could cause undue stress on the pin, since the plug would no longer be properly supported, physically.   for a 4.75 barrel OD, do you think this is, or might be, an issue?

uh, i just looked the cp-2195-nd and cp-2199-nd parts up at digikey, and their specs say the barrel is 4.0mm.  so now i'm confused -- that seems way too small.  what am i missing?
