Interesting. Yeah. Something is up. That 4th number is battery current
in uA. So if it does not have 6 or 7 digits then you aren't doing much
in the way of charging the battery.

Make sure that you a copy of the battery.dmp file into the help system.
I think all you need to do is send mail to help at laptop.org describing
that its a dump of your batteries eeprom. We should get it all route to
the right ticket.

I made a tweak to batman.fth Grab the latest copy from dev.laptop.org
and re-run.

But change the procedure a bit. This time after you run 'bat-set-low'
and remove all power from the laptop. But the battery back in (No ext
power) But don't power up. Watch the battery light and see if it turns
red for 10 or 20 seconds and then turns off.

Then you can repeat the steps. ie (remove battery, power up, run
logbat, insert battery)

And actually if the same thing happens then repeat the procedure several
times to see how consistent it is.

You use olpc-logbat as root so its in the root users directory /root

do this:

start terminal app
'su -' (This makes you root)
cp log-* /home/olpc
chown olpc.olpc /home/olpc/log-*

Now you can find the log files in the olpc users home directory.

That version of EC code has some periodic timeout issues. So when
logbat constantly queries the battery you will get times where you don't
get any info. Its ok. Its fixed in my new (unreleased) EC code.
