[olpc-help] Keyboard issues - stuck keys, keys registering erroneously

I had issues with both my control and alt keys -- the ctrl key problem was sporadic and went away after some "massaging" of the affected area.  The alt key problem, however, was more persistent.

I opened up the machine using the instructions in the "Disassembly" page on the wiki, peeled up the affected area, and carefully placed it back, applying a bit of pull to the spacebar so the spacer between the "space" and "alt" keys would end up a little more toward the space key -- and all is fine now.

(Keeping my fingers crossed, though -- I imagine this may reappear at some point in the future.)

The only nerve-wracking thing at all about the disassembly were the little pieces of metallic tape attached to the touchpad cables -- they're a bugger to manage, especially if the piece of plastic that keeps one side stickless disappears.
