[olpc-help] Activities no longer load, including Terminal; Flash failed

It looks like there are two issues here - one, whether external media such as USB sticks or various flavors of SD cards are recognized, and more severe OS-related issues.  It may be more effective to split this into two distinct threads so that we don't get muddled, eh?

We can post the thread name(s) and link(s) back here so that other readers can follow along.

To my original post, has anyone else had issues where Activities of any type fail to load, and (better yet!), has anyone been able to resolve them?
