For the most recent, non-developer release (version 656) the recommended
shutdown method is:


   1. Go to the Home View:
   http://laptop.org/en/laptop/start/homeview.shtml
   2. Hover in the center on top of the XO icon
   3. Select "Shutdown" from the pop-up menu.

Suspend is not supported in the 656 release.
