[olpc-help] Question about name displayed

Start here:

1. Launch the Terminal Activity.  Click once in the middle of the screen
after it launches so you can type commands.

2. Type the following command:

sugar-control-panel   -g   nick

This will Get the current XO nickname.

3. Next type

sugar-control-panel   -s   nick   "Nancy Altman"

The nickname has now been changed to yours.  You'll want to reboot it to
make everything take effect.

There is also a more complex procedure to completely wipe and reset the XO
to default (removing all
files and customizations from the previous owner).

I'm presuming this is a G1G1 XO. Don't try this if the XO has been
registered (i.e. delivered to one of the OLPC deployments outside North
America.)
