Yay! Be sure to sign up for the mailing list. :)

I know Moodle was a front-runner for some of the classroom portal stuff
talked about in the past. I know Drupal can fill a similar role. Has there
been any progress/decisions on what or how we are going to use a CMS of some
sort per school server?

I will be happy to listen to the suggestions and comments

Have you worked with the School Server team at all? There was a post to
community-support at laptop.org about alternate jabber servers the XO can use.

We should coordinate on if a go-to school web server for all G1G1 people
should be done.

In the same way that having dozens of XO users on your mesh adds value (and
utility) to the OLPC by using a shared jabber server for development
machines, so too would a content library, classroom portal and other
educational material shared over the scattered world of first shipment
machines. Make G1G1 be its own virtual school deployment.
