Comment:

With ext2 filesystem on external media, and an 8 GB internal eMMC, `fs-
save` yields a file of 7944011776 bytes, but the Open Firmware `dir`
command displays this as 3649044480 bytes; bit 32 of the 64-bit integer
size is lost; 0x1D9800000 vs 0xD9800000.

`fs-save` took over an hour. Using a Linux booted from USB, the `dd`
 equivalent takes five minutes.

You're excused for your indoctrination. `fs-save` is not available to
users, because the `ok` prompt is not accessible.

We have no plans for another Open Firmware release at the moment, but
you're welcome to patch it and send us the patch. Look at `fssave.fth`
for some of the implementation detail.
