 The F-Droid-hosted "Root Verifier" app is not the only test of root access
 that I carried out.  I also tried to simply "ls /data", and was denied
 permission.  I also tried to use an app that required root access (the
 "Shutdown" app, from F-Droid), and that app failed saying "The device is
 not rooted".  While a custom Android build is probably more hackable, it's
 the process documented here <http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Android> that leads
 to two apps failing to detect or utilize root access, and simply using
 /ls/.

 Regarding the power button comment "Sorry, we won't be fixing these
 issues; they are all a problem of training,"  It should be understood that
 documentation *is* training.  A problem of training is a problem of
 documentation.
