 * the new kernel introduces a new problem; camera shutter sound repeats
 for a few seconds after stopping a sound recording,
  * in dismantling the capture stream, the kernel interferes with a
 playback stream,
  * workaround is to delay the dismantle until after the playback
 completes,
  * a more correct solution is needed.
