Comment:

 The XO-1.75 uses the same ALC5631 audio codec chip as the XO-4, but with a
 different I2C master peripheral in the CPU.

 A new kernel is available for testing, which backports our XO-4 audio
 codec to the XO-1.75;
 * restricts playback and capture to 48000 Hz sample rate (#12289),
 * the AXI control is renamed to Capture to be consistent with other XO
 laptop models, and to work correctly with Sugar,
 * many unnecessary controls are removed from alsamixer,
 * correctly works with headphones with suspend and resume,
 * configures the microphone input as mono, which fixes one cause of
 flatlined audio in Measure and Record,
 * configures the Class-D Over-Current Threshold to prevent shutdown of
 speakers in some situations.

 Measure needs fixing:
 * restore all controls on exit.

 olpc-utils needs fixing:
 * set default controls on boot in olpc-configure; is done for earlier
 models.
