Comment:

 A fix pushed as [http://dev.laptop.org/git/olpc-
 kernel/commit/?h=arm-3.5&id=cca0b8e1d95e3f4e3a8ffcb19e6157457aef2243
 cca0b8e] which adds a flag to maintain headphone presence, and maintains
 the mute as applying to the active output path.

 Test case:
  * start playback of a sound,
  * plug in headphones, observe sound ceases from speakers, observe sound
 begins in headphones,
  * change volume using keyboard, observe sound remains in headphones only.
