 i agree, feedback would be useful.  it is a regression over 12.1.0.  i
 think the limitations are acceptable.  i'd say priority is normal, and
 severity is low, given the workaround now available.  for verification, i
 expect i can hang on to the borrowed device for a few weeks more.
