 That reboot loop is running again, with some extra kernel debugging which
 will hopefully give more insight into the problem.

 In the mean time, Jon Nettleton encountered the problem again and noted
 that /proc/interrupts contained:

 169:        359   icu_irq
 }}}

 (ICU IRQ 169 claimed by no handler?)

 This doesn't appear "normally", so there is some suspicion that this is
 related.
