for me, this hang on SKU295 is most trivially reproduced (assuming you
have EC serial) by putting the SoC into suspend, and typing 'q 2000' at
the EC prompt. this causes a 2000 loop (just under 20ms) EC_IRQ pulse,
but doesn't in and of itself cause any other EC activity. (other EC
events will cause this pulse, plus protocol activity)
using the unit that wad and i have been passing back and forth the last
couple of days, this hang is reliable.

SOC_SLEEP does drop, however, as reported by the EC (which is to say, the
power led comes back on).
