 I doubt interrupt allocations changed.

 12.1.0 might also have this bug - worth testing.

 Can someone test 11.3.x performing some simple but frequent action to the
 external SD card? Does this also trigger the problem?

 I suspect this was caused by a recent kernel change to fix SD cards during
 resume - we identified that the sdhci controller doesn't return accurate
 card presence state, so we now switched to polling it, which might
 generate interrupts.
