 thanks for the trace.   it looks to me like the number of camera
 interrupts keeps increasing, even though the camera is not in use (i
 assume it was not in use).  you can see what i mean by searching for the
 invocations of check_camera_activity start/finish, and observing the
 numbers assigned to camera_ints / new_camera_ints.  the code decides the
 camera is in use if the interrupt rate is greater than 2/second, or a
 difference of new_camera_ints - camera_ints > 10.
