 I noticed that the display gets briefly messed up while booting on one of
 the XO-4 B1's on my table, ser. # SHC2380004A.   I showed it to Richard
 and he helped me diagnose it a bit further.

 The problem is easily demonstrated from the OpenFirmware prompt by using
 the dcon-freeze command, which shows the corrupted display.  Then running
 dcon-unfreeze and the display recovers just fine.
