 #1 and #10001 are not ambitious enough, and behind the times.

 We need to provide a next-generation laptop or similar device to every
 child with features well beyond what the market provides today.
 Touchscreen functionality is commonplace now, and a bare minimum
 requirement.

 Next-generation trendsetting techniques (such as the Nell interface) must
 also be incorporated.
