 click in one of the suggested updates (ie assume you do not want it
 updated).
 > Then two things happen: A) the activity does not get "unchecked" B) the
 process "freezes" exactly at the point that is about to update the said
 activity.
 > If you do not go through this step, then the entire update process
 proceeds normally.

 That's not my experience. I never clicked any of the individual items, but
 it still happened.
