 Yes, that looks fine. Please make a new release.

 The EOS behaviour is concerning as it if it fails as you describe it will
 affect other activities even if you work around it here. However, I've
 just tested a lot of recordings on XO-1.75 too, each one calls into
 _onMuxedAudioMessage just fine. Are you sure you were testing
 _onMuxedAudioMessage (which will always EOS) instead of _bus_message_cb
 (which won't always EOS as it looks like the audio recording stream is
 stopped before it has had a chance to save all data - a bug for another
 day)
