 I have double- and triple-checked, but not on 1.5 hardware. I've been
 running on 1.75, F17 and on sugar-emulator, also on F17. I get
 inconsistent results, especially when making long recordings. In any case,
 the current version of the code (in git) checks for EOS and only if it
 seems to be stalled out, does it take other action. I suppose there could
 be a scenario where the transcoding process gets swapped out long enough
 to trigger a false-positive on the stalled detector, but otherwise, I
 don't see any downside to including it. (I have not encountered this
 problem in any of my testing, but I have also not tried to induce it.)
