 Oh. I let it run for even longer, and at some point the power saving
 kicked in. From that point on things got wacky. The machine goes to sleep
 and wakes up every couple of seconds (possibly from wifi activity, not
 sure) and goes to sleep after animating for a second. The speakers are
 clicking every time, but the actual Etoys sounds were not playing
 correctly. This was going on for maybe 5 minutes, then the screen turned
 off. While off, the speakers still click occasionally.

 Touching the touchpad woke it up, animation is playing fine, but sounds
 were gone. And there was the second car as described in Andy's report
 (because likely the event that would have deleted it got dropped).

 So this is a problem, but more of a suspend/wake-up problem than an Etoys
 one, IMHO.
