Comment:

 thanks.

olpc.fth is used in operating system images to boot an insecure laptop.

bootfw.zip is also provided in the operating system image, and olpc.fth
will reflash OpenFirmware during boot if the version check indicates.

olpc-os-builder does not currently provide bootfw2.zip, or cross-platform
 images.

ecfw.zip is not relevant to olpc.fth; because the update mechanism for EC
firmware on an insecure laptop is via the ROM filesystem rom:ecimage.bin
 before olpc.fth is read.

ecfw2.zip is already checked for on secured laptop; from all boot devices.

so this ticket would seem to boil down to changing ''?ofw-reflash'' to
follow more closely the post-#10900 semantics of ''?fw-update'' on the
off-chance that someone will prepare an operating system build with
 bootfw2.zip instead of bootfw.zip.

i don't think this is necessary.

please re-open with justification if you think it is.
