Comment(by dsd):

 When I wrote "reboots" above I meant "suspend/resume cycles".

 The second laptop (that was still going at 272) went on to hang at 403.
 The first laptop was restarted and then hung again at 37 suspends.

 Jon, please run the test as again (perhaps following the steps in my
 previous comment) and see if you can complete 24 hours.
