Comment:

 Thanks, I see the edits.  They lose one possibly important fact.  The
 point made by the original poster was that the steps on the release notes
 were not sufficient, that further material must be deleted, and that there
 is no clue as to how much material needs to be deleted.  Without a clue, I
 think we should not at all offer olpc-update on XO-1 to 12.1.0.
