While trying to debug #11994 we discovered that "info all-registers" in
gdb does not show the d* series of registers, suggesting that gdb and/or
the kernel were not compiled to support debugging ARM's NEON extensions.

According to gdb's disassembly, the code being analyzed was using the d
registers, but we could not see their values.

 https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/beagleboard/Sw6Cvh4QYkI
has a recipe on how to enable NEON debugging support.

At this time we do not know if this is critical to solving #11994 or not.
