Comment:

 Driver is in-build but seems to fail to initialize properly after a
 suspend-resume cycle.  (Or at least this is my idea; this could be an Xv
 surface issue, etc.)

 The result is diagonally skewed video which looks like it could have come
 from a funhouse's mirror.

 This could not easily be figured out before because the siv120d driver
 builds were in kernels with the old, non-CMA, buggy video driver.
