 Thanks Bert. It does fail similarly on the XO-1.5 (empty window) but I
 hadn't realised it crashed completely after a period of time.

 I imagine the image file might have been made from before Scratch was GPL.
 Maybe Gonzalo could try building a new one from the latest sources?
