 In #12027 we added a nasty hack to work around an issue where the graphics
 card causes a system hang if you suspend/resume in the middle of a command
 sequence involving the 3D engine.

 Find a real solution for the next release cycle.

 One option is the VIA KMS driver that we have done some testing on and
 found to avoid the problem.

 Another possibility might be openchrome, which has made some steps towards
 catching up with our requirements.
