 Ah. Yes, doing it through GNOME updates the RTC right away. However, we
 don't currently ship the time-changing utility on the XOs (we ship a
 stripped down version of GNOME). I tried to verify which device node it
 uses anyway, but I couldn't find it after a quick look in the gnome-
 settings-daemon source.
