Comment(by pgf):

 these are two different problems.

 the ticket describes use of ttyUSB[012].   comment #2 describes use of
 ttyS0.

 i've never thought we needed to inhibit suspend for the latter (though
 most of us use ttyS0 every day).

 i've never considered inhibiting suspend for the former.   (confession:  i
 initially made the same mistake daniel did, which is why i've done nothing
 with this ticket.)
