Comment(by dsd):

 A further test case that reproduces this hang easily when RenderAccel is
 on:

  1. Open a new instance of browse so that it loads the library screen
  2. Type "slashdot.or" in the address bar and press enter. Yes, the typo
 is intentional.
  3. When the Page Load Error page is displayed, click "Back" on the browse
 toolbar to go back to the library
  4. Click "Forward" to return to the error page
  5. Repeat the above 2 steps, it should hang after only a few tries of
 loading the error page.
