Comment(by dsd):

 The ck-log-system-start "error" can be ignored.

 It would be useful to have a more detailed description on what is meant by
 "fails to start". If X has been started then it means that prefdm has
 started olpc-dm which has started X - so a fair degree of "starting" has
 already completed.
