 When running the simple alsa example from http://www.alsa-project.org
 /alsa-doc/alsa-lib/_2test_2pcm__min_8c-example.html#a9 on the XO 1.75
 (build 883) which generates a random sound, I can only hear it on one
 channel (both tested with speakers and headphones).

 The same program does work fine on another machine.
