Comment:

 Ah, I see.  The inhibit of idle suspend was not done if the timer was
 started as a result of the activity being started by clicking on a journal
 activity.  The inhibit was done if the timer was started as a result of
 clicking the Start/Stop button, but only in the current running instance
 of the activity.  It did not propagate to subsequent instances.

 Fixed in

 cb98c40] and merge requested.

 (StopWatch has always, for me, resumed running timers from a journal
 entry.  The results are not accurate over suspend and resume due to #10757
 ... and the loss of up to one second because of the one second granularity
 of the RTC ... but other than that I see no reason to change the
 behaviour.)
