New description:
While performing repeated suspend resume cycles using rtcwake, while
operating on a solar panel generating insufficient power, the system time
(date +%s) jumped forward by several years as shown by a log.
The laptop ceased operating while under test, and was not shutdown
normally.
On reboot following the test, ''hwclock'' and ''date'' showed correct date
and time.
Symptom was seen once in 20 tests of panelpwr-log.
