 Once you run ntpdate, /etc/localtime tracks local changes like
 /etc/resolv.conf(#2748). The other change to /etc/statetab.d/olpc is to
 support changing the timezone in the field while not breaking olpc-update
 in the process. My understanding of the rationale behind /etc/hosts &
 /etc/sysconfig/network is to keep machine specific changes out of the
 pristine image.
