 this is fixed in olpc-kbdshim-16.

 jnettlet says on IRC:
 {{{
 that helps to fix the DPI not recalculating when we rotate the screen.  It
 helped the problem in F11 in F14 it causes the DPI bug to be completely
 eliminated
