 This bug is somehow related to #11077.  The laptops that have their memory
 test killed by an OOM condition are all running SD tests, and see
 relatively frequent "Timeout waiting for harware interrupt" error messages
 in their log.   The SD tests continue without error.

 Laptops that aren't running SD tests don't run out of memory.   Laptops
 running the SD tests but without many missed hardware interrupts take
 longer to run out of memory.  Laptops that frequently miss hardware
 interrupts run out of memory fastest.
