 The TamTam activities all need to take into account XO power saving.

 Otherwise, XOs may switch to idle sleep mode in the middle of playing a
 loop (or an extended sound in Synth Lab) if no keyboard activity occurs.

 {Alternatively, perhaps we should watch for sound card activity as part of
 powerd, which is a more universal solution, but we get sound card
 interrupts with some TamTam activities even when nothing is playing.}

 Seen on an XO-1 with 11.2.0 os14.
