#10418: Do not show "Clear Search" button if Journal empty and lacks entries

 On 10.1.3 build 351 & prior OLPC OS's, if the journal is empty (as it is
 after installation, or if the .sugar directory is wiped), we see an icon
 and text telling us "Your journal is empty".

 But we also see a "Clear search" button.  This does not make sense, as
 there are no results because there is nothing that can be a result.

 F14/Sugar 0.90 do not show this issue, so it may have been fixed upstream,
 but I have not been able to spot which Sugarlabs issue/ticket fixed this.
