 don't confuse me for a UI guy.  :-)  but since those keys have distinct
 labels on them, i think they should not rotate.  i.e., if the X key zooms
 in and the O key zooms out (for example), they should continue doing that
 after a rotate.  just my opinion, of course -- but i think rotating them
 would be confusing.
