Comment:

 Looked on an XO-1 with build 852 to see what the issue originally was.
 Verified on an XO-1 and a -1.5 with 10.1.3 os353 that the secondary
 menu/palette disappeared if I moved the cursor away from it in the
 opposite direction from which it was drawn.
