Comment:

 I was able to place in-line as well as floating images in 10.1.3 os313
 (Write 63.1).  The application defaulted to allowing me to insert images
 via the Image menu in an inline manner that let me use them with tables.

 {However, the clipboard Paste icon does not let you choose which method is
 used.  Given that various things can be pasted {including text & mixed
 media} and not just images, I do not know if the control to enable/disable
 floating images should also appear here or not.}
