Comment:

 I've tried a few times today with 10.1.3 os353, and managed to get the
 copy/paste to work each time, so I'm not certain what I did yesterday
 (apart from getting Write to crash entirely once, and Sugar as a whole
 once today).

 So I presume that something might have been flaky, but as a whole this
 seems to work.
