Comment:

 this is largely complete, and included in powerd 13.

 known missing feature requests from richard:
   - add ability to receive udev events to olpc-switchd, so that battery
 insert/remove events can be caught right away.  we'll notice those events
 within one minute, currently.
   - ability to to shutdown, or, at least, cease logging (?) after a time
 limit, or a mAh limit.
