Comment:

 as it happens, because i rewrote the battery insertion/removal detection
 code, this bug is now gone.  i released the new code yesterday -- you can
 'yum update powerd' to get it,
 or wait for os113.

 good point about timestamping the start of a new log.  i'll put that in.

 quozl -- any chance we can get a new component for powerd?  might make
 sense to call it "power manager (powerd)", so that it lives beside the
 ohmd entry in the menu.
