 Tested with kernel 2.6.31_xo1.5-20100301.1340.1.olpc.2671e48

 The horizontal flip default is fixed.

 The noise remains higher on a low light scene.

 sbright and scont now work correctly while Record is showing the live
 video.  The default brightness is 128, the default contrast is 64.  With
 these utilities, and in a dim room, I wasn't able to remedy the noise
 problem.
