#10203: XO-1.5 C1 internal SD blocks unreadable after months of use

 Symptom: ''olpc-update'' from os205 to os206 was reporting failure to run
 /bin/rm and reporting ''Input/Output Error''.

 Analysis: ''dmesg'' showed many instances of errors such as:

 {{{
 [ 8770.778831] end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 338082
 [ 8770.953756] mmcblk0: error -110 transferring data, sector 338083, nr 5,
 card status 0x80900
 }}}

 The first error had rolled off dmesg buffer, and /var/log was not
 retained.

 ''badblocks /dev/mmcblk0'' showed failure to read block numbers:

 {{{
 169024
 169040
 169041
 169042
 169043
 169044
 169045
 169046
 169047
 169048
 169049
 169050
 169051
 169052
 169053
 169054
 169055
 }}}

 The same block numbers repeat after shutdown, power removal for 30
 seconds, and power restoration.

 OFW heat spreader test shows temperature rose 4 degrees C and is marked as
 OKAY.

 History of laptop: this is the only one in my collection that has not had
 an ''fs-update'' for a very long time ... over several months since around
 os64 it has been used as the ''olpc-update'' test laptop. Occasional
 forced power downs were done, using the power button.
